The story Americablog Gay is hearing is that the Obama Administration remains squirrelly about repealing the Don't Ask Don't Tell policy that outlaws the open service of America's fighting homosexuals. As Instapundit is fond of saying the rubes continue to catch on.
An opportunity exists for the GOP if they're smart enough to seize it. One would be rich merely from wagering that the Republicans will fail to seize opportunities whose seizure requires a modicum of intelligence.
UPDATE: Welcome Instapundit readers. I'm following another local story that might be of interest. New Haven is less than a week from enforcing a new municipal regulation that will fine residents for multiple false alarms from their personal security systems. It also compels citizens to register their home alarm systems with the city or face fines. You can read up on it here.
